Tiffinee Scott is a passionate advocate for health equity, recovery, and community empowerment, based in Baltimore, Maryland. With over 30 years of experience in public health and safety, she brings both deep professional expertise and the invaluable perspective of a family member in recovery.
She is a Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, President of the Maryland Peer Advisory Council (MPAC), a Recovery Community Organizer, and Young People in Recovery (YPR) Baltimore Chapter lead.
Tiffinee leads a wide range of initiatives focused on advocacy, leadership development, outreach, research, training, and technical assistance. Her work is driven by a strong commitment to service—strengthening the peer recovery and behavioral health workforce, promoting recovery-readiness across organizations, and supporting individuals, families, and communities.
A lifelong learner, Tiffinee holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Human Services. She has continued her education at the Harvard Kennedy School with a focus on Leadership and Organizing, and was recently accepted into the prestigious Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health—a testament to her dedication to advancing health policy and equity.
Beyond her formal roles, Tiffinee actively contributes to various committees, leads local chapters, and engages in social justice efforts. Her unwavering commitment to innovation, systemic change, and community empowerment is evident in every aspect of her advocacy and service.
